The easiest way is to buy a 2GB card since there can be problems with card bigger than 2GB because Windows can't partitioning a removable drive nor can it read the second partition of one. So even if you format the card with a linux boot cd you can't read it with your Windows PC. Of course if you are using Linux or Dos you can use a 4Gb card without problems.
